Mothers Union Bowral is part of the worldwide Mothers Union (MU), a 140 year old Christian organisation, active in 84 countries with over 4 million members (men and women) who are linked by daily prayer. MU members worldwide volunteer to run various grassroots ministries focused on meeting families at their point of need.
MU runs a variety of events and seminars throughout the year. We also gather on the first Thursday of each month at 10:00am for our regular monthly meetings.
Our next meeting is on Thursday 5th March, with guest speaker, Anna Hutchins, Executive Director of Open Doors Australia (who spoke at the women’s lunch last year). Morning Tea will be provided after the service.
This year, the Livestream Hub for this annual MU seminar will be at Mittagong Anglican Church, with morning tea provided. There are excellent speakers: Amy Townsend, Tony Payne and a panel of Kate Morris, Jess Habib & Mary O’Brien. All are welcome! For more information, or to RSVP please contact Gill Truman gillytruman@gmail.com.
If you would like to learn more about MU then please come along to one of our activities or meetings or contact Gill Truman gillytruman@gmail.com.

At the AGM, reports are presented from the various groups and ministries that operate at St Jude’s. The audited financial reports and budget will be presented, and there will be elections for wardens, parish councillors and nominators. The AGM presents an opportunity to hear what has been going on for the past year, and how our finances are spent.
All are invited to attend; parishioners over 18 years of age may vote. Each attendee must sign a declaration that they are a regular member of St Jude’s and they are not a member of another church

St Jude's provides a safe space where kids can engage in a variety of activities and a unique opportunity to explore spirituality from the Bible.
Kids love our activity stations, games and Bible chats.
The provided lunch is delicious and the movie screening is a treat.
Kids from all over the Southern Highlands come to BIG DAY IN, making it a great place to meet new friends. Children are grouped and led through activity stations alongside group leaders with WWCC's and Safe Ministry training. Children join back together as a big group to enjoy BIG GAMES, a movie and food breaks.
