Southern Highlands Women's Conference

Southern Highlands Women's Conference

We are pleased to present the Southern Highlands Women’s Conference for 2025, For a Purpose. We are grateful to have Sarah Seabrook presenting our bible talk from 1 Peter, and equipping us for practical evangelism, for personally sharing Jesus.

God opened Sarah’s heart to understand his immense love shown in Jesus’s life, death and resurrection at the age of 14 and it has profoundly and eternally changed her life. Sarah grew up in Sydney and has worked in different fields both in England and Sydney including working in the ‘E’ arm of Evangelism and New Churches (ENC) where she helped equip the church to be intentional in their outreach. She continues to do this occasionally as a freelancer. Currently Sarah is employed as a Chaplain at Moore College and a literacy tutor with MultiLit. Sarah loves being a wife and mum, having strong cups of tea, taking in nature and having a good laugh.

Please join us for fellowship with other women from across the Southern Highlands as we hear from God’s word, sing praises to him, and enjoy a meal together. We will also have the Wandering Bookseller on site with a great selection of Christian books for you to purchase.

Rick Lewers is a man greatly loved by the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. He was born in Cronulla, grew up in the Methodist/Uniting Church, is married to Janene and is the father of three children and grandfather of nine. His interests are fishing, golf and all things sporting. What he can no longer play he watches and tries to avoid living vicariously through his children and grandchildren. Rick’s training was in the local church, SMBC and Moore College. He has served as a minister in the parishes of Liverpool (Western Sydney), Wanniassa ACT, Engadine and Shoalhaven Heads.
